Anne Rye as Angela Hamilton ("Miss Hamilton") (1992–1993). An elderly busybody and local magistrate. She has appeared in several episodes and has several high opinions "I chose not to bring children into this world, I'd prefer not to suffer others!". She is somewhat of a stirrer and always the first to turn on someone like when she told Dr Ferrenby that Kate had told Sandra Maskkel to go on the pill and when she organised a boycott against Charlie Denby after he was wrongly accused of fiddling with young boys.
